Kevin transitioned from industry to the executive branch, recruited for his subject matter expertise in aviation and his strong relationships with key industry trade associations. His initial engagement with CBP involved working with U.S. commercial airports and drafting a comprehensive report.

He later brought his talents to TSA, where he spent eight years operating at the intersection of industry engagement, security program development, policy formulation, and critical infrastructure protection.

At TSA, Kevin supported agency principals responsible for engagement with the Aviation and Surface Transportation Security Advisory Committees, as well as the Transportation Sector Coordinating Council. His work centered on ensuring that industry perspectives were reflected in policy development, updates to standard security programs, and initiatives related to infrastructure protection, security, and resilience.
